Coffee cup, c.1785, with unusual pseudo-armorial of a hat above a lyre perched on a box with heart- shaped lock, within a gilt inscription (faded, possibly Peter ....) encircled by a snake holding its tail in its mouth, and a laurel wreath. The meaning not clear, almost certainly for the Scandinavian market.
