Coffee cup, c.1760, with the arms of Cowper. Made for the Very Revd. Spencer Cowper, Dean of Durham, brother of the 2nd Earl Cowper, who married Dorothy Townshend, sister of the 2nd Viscount Townshend (who, as Lord Lynn, ordered six services).
